Objective of the project: The goal of the project is to contribute to eliminating hate speech, discrimination, racism, anti-Semitism, and xenophobia through helplines operating in Slovakia.

The main outputs of the project:

  • Meetings of helplines representatives, including a foreign helpline representative; focused on know-how exchange and strategies of handling hate speech and discrimination (39 participants, 3 meetings – 2 participants per each of 6 helplines + 1 foreign helpline representative)
  • Meeting for the purpose of assuring the transfer the outputs of the meeting with a foreign trainer to the participants’ organisations (45 participants – operators of child helplines at 3 meetings, 15 participants per one training)
  • Video presentations with a goal to inform about both the consequences of hate speech and the work of helplines (3 videos, at least 500 views per 1 video)
  • Poster with a goal to inform about the consequences of hate speech and about the work of helplines (4,500 pieces)
  • Workshops with children and young people (36 workshops, at least 15 children and young people per one workshop)
  • On-line operator (450 services, 8-hour service per day)
  • Press release evaluating the course of actions and the results of the project (1 press release)
